America’s Most Wired City? - Atlanta, Georgia

If you guessed, I bet you weren’t even close. You probably thought it was somewhere out west or up in the northeast, but, for the second year in a row, Forbes magazine ranks Atlanta as Americ’a most wired city. I have to say that would not have guessed it, but, after thinking about and reading the article, I have to say, that it’s not hard to believe. Especially as I sit here in my living room with 2 computers tethered to the internet (albeit unwired). According to the survey, over 80% of Atlantan’s are online at high speed. That is a number that is considerably higher than I would have thought as well. As a real estate professional with a considerable online presence, I can attest to the high level of competiton even in our sector.

I would of never guessed that! Good thing for you as an agent when you have a major internet presents. Here in Tucson I think were a little behind the curve even though our city has a large number of rocket engineers, and other high tec type industries. In Phoenix I think there more as a whole embraced to the internet especially for real estate.
