I’m Looking for a Buyers Agent to Start Immediately
By Ryan Ward | August 7, 2008
I’ve tossed this idea around for a couple weeks now as to whether or not to post an “ad” on my blog seeking agents to join my group, but, I decided it was as good of a place to do it as any. I consider it a substantial success that in a time where real estate agents are leaving the business and it is very difficult for many to make ends meet, we have been able to foster an environment of growth at a tremendous level. Some experience is required and you should be comfortable using technology. As one of Atlanta’s leading innovators in internet marketing for real estate, you will be well positioned to work with buyers in today’s market. Please call me at 404.630.3187 or send me an email if you are interested.
Update 8/11/08:
I’m actually going to be hiring at least 2 agents immediately and this will likely increase by another 2 within 30 days. I have had several calls and a couple of emails and I have not made a decision as you yet.

I’m glad to hear that business is good for you. People in Austin are downsizing more than anything. 2006 and the first half of 2007 were record setting in terms of units sold, so any slow-down at all is going to hurt.

Ryan I like your attitude, we too have been focused on expanding while times are tough. I think we will not know how to act when it picks up from here. Way to go man!

Ryan - It sounds like you are doing well and generating enough leads to bring on another buyer agent. Thats great. I wanted to pass along my tip for how I found my last agent. I hired a Realtor who I met while working on a deal. She was representing the other side and I was impressed with her professionalism so I contacted her after the deal closed and explained how I had gotten the lead of the buyer who ultimately bought her listing. Anyway, she joined us about 3 months ago. Just a thought.

Thanks guys. I appreciate it. I’ve actually just updated this post because I am going to be hiring at least 2 to start immediately…business is good for those of us who “get it” in the new age of real estate marketing.

I hope you have better success than I did. I actively recruited agents by writing a blog post on my website, posted a thread topic on REW and a blog post on AR and it resulted in zero agents contacting me! It’s like I can’t even give away all my business I have

We at Myrtle Beach Real Estate are also attmepting to take on new agents expand during our current downturn. So, if anybody out there is looking to move to the east coast and live at the beach, we’ve just moved into brand new offices.

Hey Ryan. We too are adding agents as our market is holding steady through the downturn. Our biggest problem is finding agents that believe in the web. Most agents we have hired lately, have been in the biz for a while and are used to doing things the old way.
I am curious to see how this blog ad works out for you.

Good to hear that you are doing well Ryan. Great job with the blog. I know how hard it is to be a Realtor and an internet based lead generator at the same time. There are not enough hours in the day.
