Marketing Contest for the Greatest Real Estate Agent in the World Coming to an End

May 1st ends the contest for the greatest real estate agent in the world contest and I have learned a lot which I can now take back to market homes for sale in more and better ways for my clients. It also gave me an opportunity to see how my website stacked up against some of the best in the business - from longstanding national websites to people who do search engine optimization for a living. I have learned from the contest what I needed and now know how my site stacks up and I am more than satisfied.
From now until the end of the contest, you will see my website drop off of the 1st page for the contest as I have made a decision to cast a vote for my good friend Eric Blackwell and his entry for the greatest real estate agent in the world. This means that the few links that had previously pointed to me, will now point to his entry strengthening his hold on the #1 spot and helping to ensure that a few other people have a more difficult time passing him by.
If you are a consumer, you probably could care less about this so I won’t drone on about it, but, if you are an entrant in the contest, you might be interested to know that I want all of the weight that was behind my entry now going to Eric. There are few people that I respect more than Eric and we have become friends in the little over year that I have known him. He has put a good deal of thought into how to compete in the contest and that is a testament to his skills as a professional search engine optimization expert. Maybe this push will be able to keep some others who are using some “black hat” tactics from creeping up at the end to steal the thunder of victory.
During the contest and while competing, my entry was ranked from 1-3 on any given time (although it was not #1 for very long) 
I hope that this will be enough to keep Eric heading for the victory.
For me, it’s time to take what I have learned and put it to use for my clients.

Ryan- Thanks for your support. More importantly. Thanks for your friendship. Most people don’t know you the way that I do. You are an inspiration to me. You work harder, care more, and have more integrity than many will ever know.

Very magnanimous of you Ryan. I don’t know Eric but if you vouch for him I will support him. I was hoping you were going to win.
